Deepdale Hall offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation within the farmhouse and also has a newly converted self catering cottage.
The farmhouse, which dates from the 17th century, has a family room and a double room with private bathroom and a guest lounge.
The self catering accommodation, “the Byre” adjoins the main farmhouse and formerly housed the farm’s beef cattle and was used for hay storage. The two bedrooms have Herdwick wool fitted carpets which contain wool produced on the farm. The “Byre” has a rating of 4 stars from the English Tourism Council.
For more details about Bed and Breakfast and the self catering accommodation please see the farm’s website on www.deepdalehall.co.uk.
The farm has a network of footpaths including a right of way up to Fairfield , and another that goes up Deepdale Valley to St Sunday Crag.
To the south west, Fairfield Fell leads over to Grasmere and Rydal Water. The fell has been open for access since 1925.
