FRIENDS OF THE LAKE DISTRICT

The Friends of the Lake District is a charity that works to protect and enhance the landscape of the Lake District and Cumbria and to promote its understanding and quiet enjoyment.  The organisaton runs the “Flora of the Fells” project which coordinates visits of members of the public to farms to further their understanding of hill farming and the environment it creates.
