Close to the farm is the Mount self catering cottage which has 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 people with room also for a cot. The Mount is a detached Victorian-style family home with a pitch pine interior and open fires as well as full central heating. There is a private garden and visitors can have fresh milk, eggs and other produce delivered to the door by Roger.
Although located only 1/2 a mile from Sedbergh, the cottage is on a working farm with direct access to the Howgill fells making it ideal for walking and touring holidays. More information about the cottage is available at: www.holidaysedbergh.co.uk
People staying in the cottage are very welcome to view the farm's activities especially during lambing and calving. In addition the farm offers an adopt an animal scheme including sheepdogs, lambs and calves. For £15 per year, adoptees get a special certificate, newsletter and regular updates on the progress of their chosen animal -see the website for details.
