Online and Offline PR – Differences There is a clear cut distinction between Offline and online pr. The former is aimed at influencing radio, print and television, whereas the latter influences only the communities and media that exist only in the internet. Moreover, the pitching tactic adopted by each is different. Pitching the print media is easy as there is a pre-existing editorial calendar that enables the company to find out topics on which to base one’s pitch. In case of online public relations, no such calendar exits. One has to go through the past blogs to be aware of the discussion and then pitch accordingly. |
