VISITORS

This is a traditional hill farm created and developed by generations of skilled and knowledgeable shepherds and farmers. The work of these families in the past, today, and in the future has combined care of animals with sensitive environmental management to produce a unique and invaluable asset for us all.

ACCESS

There is a designated right of way for walkers and cyclists, as part of the  ESA agreement.  This establishes a new route up the valley from Calder Bridge and then back down another valley to Gosforth.
